Benefit of being in isolation is making progress on the build. Made a glove box added more leg and foot room.

Hello tcobra,
Looks like you've got some fiberglassing to do and the benefit should be worth it. I had already built the body on before I saw that some were modifying their footwells. The thought had not occurred to me about the footwells. Nice glovebox. I did not think that I could have a glovebox because of where the windshield wiper motor is mounted. I'll have to recheck that.

You’re right about the pandemic giving build time. I’ve been laid off for almost 5 weeks and have made more progress lately than I have in past couple years. I’ve just completed the wiring, have a couple of patches I’m fabricating and I’ve already started disassembling parts (headlights, brake lights, etc) to make car ready for paint. I’ve treated this time off like I’m at work. I go to garage after breakfast, my wife calls me when lunch is ready and same for supper. Not sure if my wife appreciates it but I’ve also painted bathroom and fixed all sorts of stuff around the house.

The glove box is only about 4 in deep. It's pretty tight between the wiper motor.

DonB,
Don't like you're further along than I am. I got the wiring in the dash pretty well sorted. And have to put the body back on to get the wiring and connected that goes to the front and rear. Still got a long ways to go.
