Hello all
thank you for your interest.
to answer some questions and problems

Xack: The shape of the back an contour is unique

No problem as the "Frame Mounting Post" is fully adjustable and the TENAX Pins are fitted to suit the body shape. All Cobra windscreens are the same width and that is the width of my Top

Xack: windscreen install on each car is not the same
No problem as there is more than enough material to work with
Having worked on 100's of different Cobra's since 1988, I have seen it all.

Xack: You'll definitely need a model to create a pattern
Agree. We do not have F5 & WC Cobra's in South Africa, therefore I unfortunately have not had the opportunity to work on them. joey4420 has been very helpful in supplying measurements for the Gas Filler. Next week I will be doing a fitting on a Backdraft Cobra and I will make a cardboard model of the Gas Cap, with it placed in the correct position, I will work on a new pattern for the WCC which should also fit the F5

BOBOcobra: some have raised their roll bars a couple inches
don't see a problem there with the WCC. looking at images it shows the Apex of the Roll Bar well forward unlike the F5 which also has a very long Back Stay
the gentleman below is well over 6ft and he fits

BOBOcobra: there are some differences in our bodies
answers above. I have worked on all different body's, some with Zero Body Filler and others with plenty. The position of the TENAX pins takes up the difference.

Agree. that has been one problem for many years. at +/- $300.00 it is not cheap
Get me orders, Air Ticket, Accommodation for a month, an Industrial Sewing Machine, a workshop with general hand tools and I'll knock out 6 Cobra Tops fitted. Just a thought. Price to be determined

another problem is the fitting. Difficulty level between 1 & 10. A definite 9. Even though I have perfectly detailed instructions and a fitting video, some owners find it easy and others don't. After doing +/-900, for me it is a 1 and I fit a top in 8 hours. So to do it after work at night, step by step, it is possible to knock it out in a week.
Warning: I have also found that the customers that hand over the fitting to an Upholster, land up with a big mess.
Best done as a DIY because YOU HAVE PASSION and I'm as close as an email for assistance

Thanks for the updates David... I don't mind being a guinea pig, I was really hoping you might still make it to the cobra show. If you change your mind about coming this way you could probably get a FF car for measurements.

With those comments in mind... Do you think you can keep the $ under $2K USD? Delivered? I would be interested if that is the case. I'm quite looking forward to snapping on my soft-top and being able to drive on a cool night or when a thunder storm pops up and not have to wait it out or depend on a car cover. I can give you all the measurments you need on my end for any car-to-car personalization you need. Photos etc...

I don't have anything installed and I'd like to do the Soft-Top first and then fit it for a tanou cover for parking it in parking lots etc.

When you say fit the top in a week... What kind of work do you mean? Do you mean that we need to alter the top permanently in order to get it to fit? Do we need to cut it and sew on it? Just what is involved? and if you have a video of a typical installation to answer these questions, is it on your web page?

Xack; under $2k all in is possible also to ship 2 tops is the same price as 1. A Soft Top is also great sitting in a traffic jam on a very hot day and it also beats parking under a flyover waiting for the rain to stop.

Ok folks, What do we want to do here? Because of my recent wedding, I'm needing to get "approval" from the wife... and the wedding was $$$. So, I need to save up. I'd be interested if we can get something moving later this year. I think I would like to see pictures on somebody's WCC or Kellison if possible.
