Default GT40/P1008 FoMoCo car

SunDude posted some great shots taken by Luc Ghys at Goodwood.
I noticed that GT40/P1008 looks different (again)....its bodied as a MkII and painted up to look like 1046, the official winner of LM in 1966.
I recall several years ago it being painted in Gulf colours, including orange paint on its quite unique five spoke wheels.
Back further to the first time I took notice of 1008, it was painted in Linden Green (and its five spoke wheels painted in the same green).
Another - I think - unique feature of this car is the exhaust bundle of snakes which was not a crossover system like all(?) other GT40s.
Anybody know any more about this quite unique car - any other colour schemes that I'm not aware of? - which I believe has been owned by FoMoCo since day one?
Cheers,
Glen
