Default Barrett Jackson's 2004 Ford GT auction in June

At the end of the month in their NE sale
They say it is test car prototype identified as 2004
First question is: will the DMV in the buyer's state accept it, not knowing they didn't make them for calendar year 2004?
Also they say six ways to Sunday it's limited to 5 mph. Isn't that just a chip that regulates that? How long to change a chip?

Somewhat related did anyone hear what Mark Gerish's yellow or gold GTX prototype modified in Wisconsin finally sell for? That thing must have had 200K miles on it but historically it was the first open one of the '05-06

The car has been through the auction circuit before:

As such, it is sold on a "Non Op" Bill of Sale only.

No title means no street use.

Unless of course you have a dealer tag

Sounds like a Ford test mule with no MSO?
Maybe a nice piece to put on the shelf, but doubt it can be registered.
