Nah if he could he would sold that bucket of bolts Kirkum and bought it a long time ago. Rod can't afford a GT40.

Well, if I really get out my "portable" adding machine (like the one below), take a look at what expenses I can cut, maybe take a few shortcuts here and there, say, maybe build a simple no-frills pedestrian 302/4bbl, I'm reasonably sure I could swing a GT40 replica.

Unfortunately, due to size limitations, you know, fitting those broad shoulders from all those Russian Kettlebell Swings, Romanian Deadlifts and Bulgarian Split Squats (have you noticed alot of exercises come from the old Soviet Union?) and the fact there's no friggin' windows, meh, I'll pass.

I prefer my mid-60's replicas to be roadsters.

Guys.
Give it up.
This jumped the shark six pages ago.

Mike, I know you are just having fun and Rod I know you are just tossing it back, but there are people out there that really think this is serious.

Step back and look. Do you REALLY want to be defined by these posts?

Communication over.

Rick, I'm not worried one iota if my posts here or anywhere else define me, assuming my posts here in an online car forum actually do define me. I've been here at Club Cobra for at least a decade, so if any definitions about me have been formed, they were formed a very long time ago.

Having said that, I can't stand when I read BS online. We had a former CSX 4000 owner who loved to BS here, and who no longer can post here. Mike here is just another continuation owner who thinks their car is better than everyone else's. And I've heard through the GT40 grapevine that he's the same in person.

Here's a piece of advice in return for you Rick. We know you sell SPF GT40's and have an inherent bias when it comes to discussing SPF GT40 replicas. We also know you've been reading this thread from the beginning until now, so if you feel the thread has "jumped the shark" 6 pages ago, then stop clicking on it.

Did this thread get misplaced from the Paddock forum over at gt40's.com?
