In general, I think, there's just a very limited market for these GT40s and kit car replicas in general. They're loud and smelly and very mechanical. I'm sure others share the same opinion as me, that GT40s are a tight fit and require some gymnastics to ingress/egress and are claustrophobic. Additionally, there's no friggin' windows! And they're $100,000 +/- cars. Even with the A/C on full blast, when the temps get above 90 degrees, you're going to be hot and sweaty mess. That's why the ring holes in the seats.

So, unless you find that one (or a couple) right buyer(s) just salivating for one, it usually takes a few months and the price must come down.

Do you remember that person who registered here a few years ago and basically said "I have cash right now. Sell me your GT40 for $70,000 (or something like that) and you'll have a quick and painless transaction." He did find someone to sell him a GT40 (not an SPF or ERA) for around whatever amount he was offering. I don't think he ever posted again. Came here in a hurry and left even quicker.

Point is, if you don't have a few months to sell your car, then price it accordingly, er, keep your ego in check.
