Thumbs up I'm off to Run & Gun...

I leave at first light. I sure hope that other GT40 owners show up. It's really nice when there are more than 0ne or two. It's a long trip from Phoenix to St. Louis but worth every minute.
The year before last I had my best time run of 1:15.80 on street tires. I hope I can just beat that. I didn't do it last year so I I'm really going to give it a good shot this year. The autocross track is different every year so it's just a matter of let it all hang out. I been going down in position in this event too so I gotta do better. One thing for sure...I'll have a blast doing it!! .

Hope to see you there....

Hersh

Hersh!

Hey, how have you been? It has been a very long time since we've exchanged posts.

Hope the Run & Gun went well.

Herschel was tearing up the track...he had to have had a good time.

What a great guy to have at any event.

Bernie maybe you can make it next year. I know we missed you!

Thumbs up

Thanks guys & Gals for your kind words.
I just returned from R&G last night. It is a long trip when you're alone. Unfortunatly you become good at talking to yourself. It would have been nice to have Bernie there again.
Clois, it just looked like I was tearing up the track. With three year old tires that were hard as a rock I was doing a fair job of learning how drifting works. I had so much fun though. It was great to see all my friends and visit. The event is truly a highlight of my year. I will be there again next year and I'll be ready too. The old GT gets new shoes and a few other top secret goodies.
