There is some info on the car over on GT40s.com. Fellow has one and it is probably his you saw if you live on the West Coast, only one in the US I'm aware of actually (think that is where he is, have to check his profile).

BE was involved with trying to bring some cars into the US but the deal went south. IIRC his was the only car the dealer was able to successfully bring into the US before things didn't work out. Seems he has a lot to do other than just build cars. Anyhow, if I remember right the car is a GTD derivative, a space frame, thus has a lot in common with other space frames like the GTD, early CAV space frames, RFs, etc.

That would be the car, bought a Boss 302 from him and it was in the garage. I was impressed with the fit and finish. Built a GTD back in 92 that was a nice build also. Who is the recognized best out there in your opinion. Is the Cav a little shorter? than original thanks

Ask that one over in All GT40s and see where it goes - I'm not touching that one with a 10ft pole!

Seriously, lots of facets to that question depending on your needs.
