Default Saying Hello

Just saying hello, long time member over on GT40s.com and long time lurker here, figured it was time to join.

I might be close to the record for having RF GT40's with two.

Peter

Dave,
No, no relation.

Buzz,
The why two, is a long story full of desire, lust and greed build around GT40's. The short version is that I have been building an RF for a couple of years and when Rolfs car came up for sale I decided to shortcut my build and purchase his car.

What amazes me more is that now I find myself thinking about anuther one but that story is for my shrink.

The defination of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Peter

Peter, It's perfectly normal.. no need for a shrink.
I was up to 7 Mini Coopers until my wife shook me hard as I couldn't remember where I was with each one any longer; so I started to sell off. I'm down to 2. Contemplating my 2nd GT40, either a new CAV or SPF.

Welcome to our insane but fun world.

Peter,

You are more than welcome in that case!

It was just that "oliver350" cut quite a swath in the GT40 forum, here, and elsewhere.

Wow! Two GT-40's. You are one lucky dog!!!

Cheers!
Dave

Dave,
I observed from the sidelines both on GT40s and here and chose not to get involved.
