SPF GT40 is Home

Thanks Guys,

I like the look of the MK1 vs any of the other interations of the GT40.

The LeMans winner is the car I saw in the Gulf Oil headquaters building with my Dad in 1970.......I've been lusting for it since then and I am living the dream.

Hersh....the car will be fitted out in LA and I am hoping to have it at the "Wheels and Waves" show. We have our room reservations already and I am looking at my registration that came in the mail today.

Here is a picture of the #9 car with the Bubbles in the right direction, this is from SuperCars Magazine edition #16, the bubbles on my SPF have the high point facing forward instead of directly over the drivers head....there are a few more pics in my gallery.

Tony...sweet ride!!!! What's the next addition to your collection???

Can I put my name on the waiting list for a ride along when it gets completed?

Could you share the number that you are looking at, total out of pocket cost, when this is complete? Of course, your time would not be included, but if that was added a huge total number would probably be the result.

I looked at a 2005 GT40 locally - 2005 - they still want $15K over sticker, but haven't sold it since 2005! Perhaps the dealer thinks it's a potential classic with the prive going up? I'm thinking, no way, but I could be wrong.
