I have been shopping for about a month and most dealers are keeping their inventory to a minimum. None have sold on EBay, as I recall the highest bid has been just over 60. Rollers are now advertised for under 70 and there are 2 complete Superformance cars with Roush 427's at GT40.com for 75k. There is a add here with a offer to trade in Cobra on one. No action to date. I don't see much going on at the sites I monitor.

I was just kidding about the job, the reason I don't have a job is that I had one for 40 years and now I have been retired for about 11 and loving every minute. Given this market, there may be opportunities for trades.

How much do you want to spend? What do you think your coupe is worth? The values of all cars are depressed right now, both the 40's and the coupes. I am not to sure the spread has changed much between the two cars. There are some great deals out there on some GT40's. What's the budget? Tell us about your coupe.

Thats okay,I was just looking for more info so I could pass it on if I heard anything. I have a lot of friends with Gt40's. I don't think any will be ready for an even trade.

Dean,

Nice article about you and your '40 in Kit CAR mag this month. I'm considering a Dynatech setup myself. Looks the real deal. Good luck!
