Default Holley 715

Has anyone used a center pivot 715? I'm thinking of using one on my 347. Thoughts? Comments? - thanks

I actually have a "600cfm" with LeMans bowls on my ERA FIA. I love the look, it has that period correctness too. Mine performs very well but it is hard to adjust if needed, as in the floats. The rest of the carb is basic stuff. I've considered having Quick Fuel make one with the LeMans bowls but I just don't know how that will come out for the money spent.

To be honest though, ONLY a person with REAL Shelby knowledge even knows what that funny carb is! The air cleaner was a bit of an issue as they don't make a short profile that clears the bowls. I tried about 8 or 9 and they are all made for the cathedral bowls and will clear those nicely. For me, I wanted the look and the correctness but for most it's "whats up with that weird carb?"...

Thanks. What did you end up for an air cleaner? Any Pictures?
