Cobra Make, Engine: factory five 427wworld 427w

stumbling

I have a holley 870 on a world 427w in the higher gears fom say 3 thru 5 if I press down on the gas the car stumbles and sometimes back fires from the side pipes. I not sure if it is ignition or carb related or just bad fuel any help would be appreciated Im at my wits end with this car.
