Fuel Pump Question

Been using a Carter M6905 for years and it finally gave up . So , went on line and it seems they are in real short supply or are backordered .
So , my question is : has anyone used the RobbMc pump on their FE and were there any fitment issues ? One difference I see is that the outlet is on the bottom of the body and its diameter is a little bigger .... 4" diameter .
