Patricks post seem to be in line. (this time)

The pedals are already floor mount on the new Hurricane. The six pin wheels might be a possibility but I don't think it was ever discussed. The Hurricane guys should be happy to be compared to the likes of ERA and Kirkham. These are the leaders in the hobby. I really believe all three can do most anything you request if you have the cash.

Good point on the RHD from Hurricane. I forgot about that car.

I thought they were floor mounted -- I remembered your post from late last year when you placed your order and you mentioned they were -- I was impressed with that. It doesn't make the car go faster, or better, and you wouldn't even notice it unless you stuck your head in the car and looked for it... but I think it's a huge deal. Probably bigger than making it RHD! The only real fab work for RHD was the foot boxes, if I recall correctly.

Your right, it is a bigger deal than RHD. You don't just buy something off the shelf. I think it is the little detail stuff that is the most important. That is what makes a car worth more to me. That's why I chose the Hurricane and the fact that it was a little cheaper.

I think they should delete their language about "hanging the brake pedals" under Stage II Assembly. That just confuses stupid people -- like me. Unless, of course, "hanging" a floor mounted pedal is some sort of term of art....
