I will give Steve a call tomorrow and see if he knows about this. It is so close to the shop that they really shouldn't miss the opportunity.

I talked to Steve today and he will be there. They have a buyer flying in so what better place to show case the car! I think they are looking at the afternoon session on Friday.

We are planning on coming with the Hurricane Factory car and getting a little track time in during the Friday afternoon session. We have not been to this track or event before, what can we expect?

I think it is very similar to Hastings in that it is very flat. It isn't as long or as fast. You can sort a forget where you are on a track like that because there aren't a lot of visual clues and the track is so flat that you can't get a good look at it from the seat because you are so low to the ground. I'm not sure that makes sense but hopefully you kinda get what I'm talking about.

if it like my experience, they are very laid back, do your own tech. depending on the type cars showing up, mucho track time. if open wheel cars show up then they get their own on track time, otherwise lots of track time, lots of time either way really. you can pay for half day or full day, divided at lunch. parking lot has lots of loose debris unless it's been repaved, park near the front. you'll enjoy the track. transponders available for rent also. good luck.

We tracked the Hurricane factory car at MAM Friday afternoon and were impressed with the track and the facility. The Hurricane was the only 427 there so we misssed you Rob. Our driving season is coming to a close but we look forward to going back sometime next year.

This is a fun track to get some laps in and the Hurricane performed very well. There were not too many cars out on Friday so there were only 4 or 5 cars on the track at any given time and sometimes we were all alone. Great time to give the car a good workout, and we did. Look forward to going back.
