Does anyone have any hurricane photos on line. I'd like to look at several different Hurricane cobras but I can't find much on line.

Please help--thanks!!

Default Hurricane Photos

John,
I have attached a few pictures of HM1002. HM1002 is nearing completion and is being built by Dean Lampe. You can find his photos in the gallery under user dlampe. Let me know if you need anything else.

Mike

Looks like a very nice car there. The use of the stripes is different and very effective.

Obviously very close to completion also..

I have to agree. Really like the little cobra you are building. Colors are great.

Default WOW!!!!

That is one of the best color combos I have ever seen! The red pit stripes - so simple, but really make the car look amazing!!!

How much of your engine compartment is from the kit--sure looks shiny! What a great looking Cobra--I can't say that enough.

The Cobra above is Dean Lampe's and is more beautiful than the pictures show. Two weeks ago we stabbed his 427 Sideoiler in it and if you want to see it up close or on the Track come to the Mid-America Shelby meet in Tulsa June 9 thru 12. Deans Cobra is a georgeous rendition of the 427 Cobra.
The workmanship of the manufacturer and the quality of parts used put the Hurricane in a class of it's own as far as value and overall cost. I would buy one!

Default Thanks for all the kind words!

I am extremely please with the way the car has turned out. The engine compartment is stock Hurricane with a few Hurricane installed upgrades available to all their customers. I will post completed pictures this evening. Thanks again guys.

Who did the paint job? I live right between the Hurricane folks and you, Dean. I'm going to have to travel several hours in some direction anyway in order to find a non-bubbified painter (I live in rural Missouri!) Were there any flaws in the paint? Was it done on time? If you don't mind me asking, what did the paint cost?

The painter did a great job. There are always imperfections in the paint but I am probably the only one who will ever know where they are. It will cost between $4500 and $6000. It all depends if you want solid color or all the extra stripe work and numbers. Overall he does really good work for local car show type stuff. You get what you pay for!
