Default picked out my motor

Looks like I am going with a kieth craft 351w stroked to 408. It should give me about 525 hp /tq. Hopefully it will be plenty of power

Default Motor

Dan:

Is your car on the road? I was wondering how the Hurricane performs with the motor you selected. I'm contemplating the same but want to make sure I don't end up paying for more HP or torque than can be reasonably applied to the road in the form of straight-line acceleration, vs. smoking the tires ad nauseaum. In what state of 'done' did you buy the motor? Complete turn-key, or did you source the needed items to finish it yourself, e.g. starter, alternator, etc.

Nope still waiting on the car to get here lol. Should be here next week. I have had a 700 hp Sti sitting in my garage that was taking up space so I let the hurricane guys take their time.

Dan,
Your car is going to scream with that motor. Keith makes a great engine - good choice. I can't wait to hear it run.

Hey Dan,
Sounds like a good choice for your engine. KC does good work. I have a 418 putting out 496HP-565TQ in mine and let me tell you - it rips. I've only driven it in the go-cart stage but I can tell it gonna be a lot of fun. I think you'll be pleased with the engine you've selected.

Mike
