Front wheels stick out
I really like the look of the Hurricane Cobra's I've seen. They remind me a lot of an ERA. One thing that bothers me a bit from the photos, is that it looks like the front wheels stick out a little too wide, like they should be tucked under the front fenders a bit more. The photos I've seen are with the Trigo wheels. On a few photos, it doesn't look quite as bad. Is this something they've made an update to?
I've uploaded a couple of examples:

ERA front view
Hurricane 3/4 view

Nathan,
The front wheel track is in fact 2" wider than the originals. A few owners have made simple modifications to bring it back in. New kits might be coming out with the correct track at this point, but I'm not sure. I finally got mine registered and on the road, but have a few details to get ironed out, one of which is alignment, which will most likely include bringing the front track in an inch on each side.
Are you back in the market for a new project?

I'm not back on the market quite yet, but when I am, the Hurricane will be at the top of my list. Hopefully that will be sooner than later.
I've been looking into their kit, and it is quite impressive. I just had a few questions about things.

I'd like to come by and see your car sometime. Let me know if that would be doable for you. I've just recently moved to East Lansing, but GR isn't that far.
Thanks,

Nathan,
My weekends are spent camping out in a wet slip in Grand Haven, so weekdays are better. Give me a call when your coming into town, 581-1091.

The track width has been reduced by 2" to the standard track in all current production models. The picture of Black#98 in the 3/4 view had pretty wide front tires (245/255 I think) in that pic and the track was wider. Below are pictures of the current front track and 235 size tires. In them, you can see that the track width is now correct.
