Default Hub Boss Outer Diameter?

Hi Gang,
I need some help! I'm having Schott Wheels make up some custom "Sprocket" rims for me, and it turns out that they can make them hub centric if I can get the outer diameter of the hub bosses defined (or measured). This would be a caliper measurement as the accuracy needs to be within ~.002" of the actual diameter for a good hub centric fit.

Anyone here happen to know what the outer boss diameters are on a JBL Competition Roadster? Thought I would give it a shot, just trying to do everything right on this build, some of it above and beyond the standard JBL details. If I had a part number I would look it up, this appears to be a custom item Larry has built - the parts list says "JBL Billet Rotor Hats-Front/Rear", and that's where the hub bosses are milled in. Anyway, thanks for any info. you can provide, I'm hoping I can nail this one down.

i had some race rims made for mine and told the guys at ccw the hubs were 4.25 x 5 standard issue mustang/tbird units. they brought up the specs and made the centers. fit fine using acorn style lug nuts. my hubs are not milled btw and don't know why they would be, one car uses the jbl aluminum hat, the other uses a wilwood i believe, different rotor offset requires different caliper bracket and possibly some modifications to the rotor (chamfer cut on the inside edge), make sure everything fits. don't know why they would have to be hubcentric, could use the lug nuts to center the tire.

the fun has begun!

Thanks for the info, that may be the rout I take to get the outer hub boss diameter. Yes, this is almost a nit, but not quite ...

Don't have to be hub centric, but the option is free with Schott wheels and there are some benefits. Agree, lug nuts will center your wheel but it won't be a perfect centering, there is always a slight error driven by manufacturing tolerances. Hub centric gets you closer to that absolute center point. Makes brake work easier too (maintenance/inspection), wheels are easier to handle going on & off.

if your hubcentric rims get too difficult to remove you can loosen the lug nuts and roll the car or drive the car a short distance, works every time.

how's the car coming?
