Aldan Shocks

Hello Richard,

I tried e-mailing you but I don't think it went through. Anyways,
I talked with Dave at SK and told him that I wanted to use Aldan Shocks with my JBL. I have surfin' buddy that is the GM and he has offered to custom build the shocks to whatever spec's that you might consider. I told Dave and he suggested that we send him a front and rear shock for them to test and match. I thought that was a good idea and spoke to my friend and he told me that would work and if you wanted anything special to let him know.
So, if you can think of anything please let me know. This is the time if you would like anything special..

Hi Dave,

I am going to send you my email address through the forum. I do not like to post the address as the spam boys are getting really good at gleaning them from open forums etc.

Actually, I would like to speak to your friend at Alden and discuss the motion ratios and damping requirements for the jbl chassis.

Also, I will need to know your intended use of the chassis. Racing, street, etc. etc.

I am far from a damper expert and I really need to rely on the folks that make them to give me the damping curves that work with the dynamics of the chassis.

ps: I stopped by the shop on thursday and your chassis is at the skin stage. It is a very nice piece and the detail fabrication updates please me. (And that is hard to do.) Also, let me know about your roll bar choices and any special stuff that you wish. Dave is so busy that sometimes things get confused between us on a design standpoint.
