Default phenolic spacers

What is the best material to use as phenolic spacers on Webers IDA's intake manifold?
Thanks
Bernie

Carb spacers as a heat barrier (I assume) can be made of several different materials. Phenolic (garolite) Grade G10 is good to about 284 degrees. Grade G11 is 338 Degrees. Grade G-30 is a glass fabric with a resin binder that can stand 464 Degrees but is only available in 1/4 thick. I have used a Hardwood or Plywood to make spacers also. Birch or Oak works well.
Good Luck
