Default fuel tank filler hose help needed

hooking up the fuel tank filler hose using the fender fill; the fender pipe is 2" and the tank outlet is 2.5". i am thinking either a transition piece is missing, wrong part installed, etc. any help or suggestions how to make the connection? looks to be a pretty good bend also. thanks.

Vector1,

Your chassis originally had the JAZ 16 gallon cell installed. Did Dave change the fuel cell for another type?

I do not know which Le Mans type filler Dave used in his build.

On the standard unit that JBL uses they make the back side of the filler.

This has a separate cap under the main cap as all of the Le mans units leak. Check to see if this is what you have.

I recommend this hose. Goodyear fuel hose

Hose reducers are quite common and and good hose supply house with have one if you need it.

dave did not have the fender fill unit hooked up. fill up was via lift the trunk and insert nozzle in tank which had cap. he did include the jaz remote fill hookup and the fender unit does have the locking cap underneath. i will investigate further. thanks. mark
