FWIW, KCR built a 514 motor for me that made 765HP @ 7000, 700lbs @4500. It's an iron block w/ full mechanical roller and TWM stack indcution on top. The design goal was streetable power on pump gas so the cam is mild (112deg lobe centers, 258deg duration @ .050, .738" lift). Runs like a Honda... until you mash the loud peddle. A more agressive cam I'll bet would make 800+HP.
