Rah Roh. You may have awakened "The Beast."

In almost two years, I think I've only been asked the "Is it real?" question only once.

We're skipping over the issue of whether it is indeed real or not and, instead, concentrating on whether or not you're subjected to the question itself. I would venture to say that a polished Kirkham gets asked that question far less than a beautifully painted ERA, or for that matter, a POS FFR or SPF.

Yes, let's skip over it. You wouldn't want me quoting Evan would you?

Signed, REAL TOO.

... and how many astute SPF owners can figure out whether the modifier "POS" applies to the entire series or just the immediate object.

You do realize that you're on "the World's largest unbiased website", right?

Back to original topic. Does Nantucket get salt on the roads? I'm not a metallurgist, but the Kirkham's billet aluminum suspension (otherwise known as bling) may have an advantage over the Cobras with the non-bling suspension around the Nantucket area.

That's the website, not the participants. People without opinions are like pools of standing water... and they tend to breed reptiles of the mind.

Nice. William Blake. I prefer the quote "opinions are like (fill in the blank), everyone has one."

So of the two times you had your car out, you were asked once if it was real.

Couldn't resist, since it was teed up so nicely.

I deserve that. Nothing but net. In my defense, I do get my car out, but don't want to inflict upon the neighbors too often with an 8:00 AM breakfast startup. I'd rather pi$$ them off more often in the afternoon.

You just gotta "condition" your neighbors to the sound of the car starting early in the morning.

Now if you've got a long drawn out warm up routine...well, that would pi$$ me off if I was your neighbor.

Only when they have OUTDOOR Movie Night during the Summer, then I uncork the exhaust and warm it up for 15 minutes to make sure their movie experience more enjoyable.
