Default Builders

I have recently sold my other Cobra and have decided that a Kirkham is in my future. Can anyone direct me to some builders in the Milwaukee area to contact?

I'd like to think I could do my own work, but both I and my insurance company know the truth

Thanks in advance

+1. what stage do you need it completed to? Roller or turnkey? What engine? Since Kirkham has no dealers, it's got to come from there (Provo) anyway, and who better to finish it.? If its a money thing, that only works if you do it yourself!

The closest shop that I know of that can complete your car (and build your engine) is Kinetic Racing Engines.

I meant, engine and drive train installers. Thanks Jamo.

Tom,

I have sent a few notes to David, maybe my mail is getting stuck in his junk mail filter. And maybe that's appropriate

I'll check out Kinetic. Surprising there aren't any in Chicago? Or maybe there are.

Thanks

I recommend using Jim Cowles of Shelby Parts and Restorations. He is in Green Bay and has been around since the mid-70's. He is very well known in the Shelby and Cobra arena. He built and installed my engine. He has all the parts he needs right in house and he is very reasonably priced.

Great to know Cobra Pack, thanks. And If I time it right, I can take in a Packers game in the same trip!

Hehehe...

Spend as much time as you can getting to know who you plan on using. Try to get some references and "see" their work. Get everything (including schedules for completion) in writing. Make sure they can get the stuff they'll need to finish it properly.
