Wow, that just makes me want to go out and buy a 1/2 dozen!

I just don't see the hybrid/electric DNA running through the Kirkham veins...it would change my view on what they are all about.

Not all hybrids are bad, and is actually something that we have spent a great deal of time looking at. For example, I am sure no one would complain about driving this:

A brand new Hemi Dart? Thunderbolt? Copo Camaro?
One of these 10sec musclecars?

There are several Teslas in my neighborhood and the Tesla dealership isn't very far from me either. Awesome cars.

Whatever it is, it's a car that won't bring on the lawyers. Either it's an oldie replica or some kind of newly designed supercar (in the spirit of Lamborghini).

Tom, thanks for the links. Cool technology. I'm all for race cars using kinetic energy from braking systems to recharge onboard battery packs that either power the car's electronic systems or provide some form of alternative propulsion (say, in and out of the pits). I just shudder at the thought of driving something with xxx HP that I can barely hear.

Part of the allure of our Cobras is that you are heard before you're seen.

I'm confident that whatever your company is planning to introduce will be innovative, light weight, fun to drive and contain superb craftsmanship throughout.

I assume you guys have seen this? I seen it on Speed, for got the HP (400?) but 1000 ft/lbs of torque! Totally cool, and sounded great too.

It's disingenuous how they market this as "100% Electric - Zero Emission Vehicle"

Maybe at the point of consumption, how about the emissions where the power is produced?

KobraBytes,

Oh I know that, I have heard that about the Prius's, but we know its not about practicality or use (well most of us anyhow). It about great marketing and money. If I was a tree-hugger, was wealthy, and had to have the "appearance" of being "green" because of my status or company, this is not a bad option. Like it or not, its smart. Having you rcake and eating it and looking good doing it, as long as you can afford it.

Might as well have fun with this guessing game...

So, Tom, will it have a Flux Capacitor?

After reading all the give and take here...it all sounds Greek to me.

...but what do I know?
