I wish I could drive like that! Wowzer!

I love that noise.

Jamo 02-16-2010 11:03 AM

Yup...saw that before (can't recall who sent it). Love the early 60s car. Thanks.

rustyBob 02-16-2010 11:31 AM

The movie Grand Prix has a lot of those lod cars in it.....

kayakjack 02-16-2010 11:55 AM

Its neat that the helmets on the drivers are period correct and painted similar to the Ferrari driver who drove the car. I noticed Jacky Ickx' black helmet with white trim on the early '70s vintage car. Schumacher's red. And Niki Lauda working the gas station is a nice touch.

Wow.

Only an oil company (Ferrari's associate sponsor) would be able to afford to get that commercial made. Best I've ever seen.

Reminds me of an IMAX movie i saw many years ago. Wish I could remember the name of it. Mario Andretti is flying an ultralight over the trees, etc. Anyway, one of the first cars he raced was restored, and he drove it out of a barn down these leaf-covered country roads. It was magical.

I found it - "Super Speedway" - it was AWESOME. www.superspeedway.com -- anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread.

Great commercial :)... saw it a while ago as well. Good way to get those Ferrari race cars out of the museum and onto the road, and they sound so good. Each generation seems to have a higher pitch than the previous one ... love those RPMs !

Mando 02-16-2010 08:21 PM

That is by far the best commercial I have ever seen!

Regards.

That '67 Chris Amon car is my all time favorite f1. Maybe not the most successful, but it sure is beautiful.
