hi guys! None of my family sustained any damage to our properties, but more importantly, none of us were hurt. Its going to take a long time for some of the areas to recover and a massive amount of lives were lost. I think the total will be up to about 400 dead by the end of everything. I watched the tornado roll passed downtown Birmingham. It was huge-a mile wide they say with winds around 200mph.
Thanks for checking in. We are very blessed. I have never seen brick buildings turned to rubble.

The car will be progressing as soon as i can figure out the darn bellhousing alignment. However, it might be a little slow because i am going to try to volunteer my time on the weekends. These people are going to need help for a very long time.

It's officially official with plate and registration in hand. Car is now registered as a 1965 Kirkham Cobra.

Not yet, but hopefully by tomorrow night. I just realized that the boom on the engine hoist i have will not be long enough to lower the engine and trans into the car. So, i will have to tackle it from the side or borrow my fathers front end loader.
