Hello David, Do the reservoirs come with the mounts/ caps/ etc? Missed out on the first set. Geez, these are all the parts I just put on my ERA FIA! I need to go west and dig through your piles! Thanks for the great details and time spent! Got any of those "Billet Books" laying around. There HAD to be a few of those under a shelf or two. Probably got one under the phone book! Ha!!

The reservoirs do not come with the mounts. (We only use one mount now that holds all three). I think there is another set here. A few people have asked and I went digging. I will look to see if we have any of those old style clamps left if you are interested.

No billet books laying around  I do have some of the proofs around here...

Do you have any bottom rear suspension pins for original 289 uprights that have NOT been machined for Penske shocks heim joint ends? Any other original style 289 suspension pieces?

I'll look for the pins. The only suspension pieces I can think of are spring perches and control arms. I will go and look. We are moving a big die right now on the mill. It will take me 15 minutes or so to get back to you.

Any pics of the reservoirs? I think I know what I'm getting... Proofs, mmm.

Just thought you guys might want to see why we are here so late. This is an SPF (superplastic forming) die for the rocker on a...

Coupe :D

It is made from cast iron.

While coming back from moving the Coupe SPF die I found this

We just pulled this differential out of a customers car and exchanged it. The differential was leaking a bit (it is 10 years old--it is out of the NYC 911 car we donated to the NYU Hospital at Ground Zero. Can you guys believe it has been 10 years!) It was also make a clunking noise as the clutches grabbed and let go. We just replaced it. We don't have time to figure out what is wrong. The differential unit is a Dana Power Lock. They are not that expensive to rebuild.

Retail $5,000. Today $2,500  I'll even throw in the upper mounts.

SOLD

David,

Will call on Monday, thank you!

Got any surplus or dead gauges or switches? … would be fun to 'populate' the dash and hang it up in the house … not sure I can talk the Mrs. into putting it above the fireplace  … but it would look pretty cool in the garage! :D

Dead switches...no problem. We used to use Lucas switches

I don't know about dead gauges. I'll have to look around. We might have some. That will be good to get you going.

We have 2 trunk trays for a 427 street car. They are very similar to the trunk tray of a 289 car and can be used in a 289 car. (The 289 car has a cross molded into the bottom.) This one has the holes already drilled in it for access to the differential bolts. This one already has the roll bar holes in both sides.

Retail $450 Today $125

This one does not have the holes in it for access to the differential bolts. Retail $450 Today $150

Garage Art!

This is a fender from a car that was wrecked. We cut the fender out to fix the car. Hang it in your garage for $95 :D

SOLD

This will probably cost $50-$75 to ship; so, keep that in mind.

Came off a 427 car. It has quite a few dents in it. They don't show up in the photo very well.

David Kirkham 11-27-2010 07:28 PM

This is the front clip we took the fender out of to fix the car. A front clip retails for $10,000. We'll let this go for $3,900. Please keep in mind this will be expensive to ship. Probably $500, maybe more.

No, the "front clips" that are attached to cars in the background are not part of the sale. :)

This is the lower part of a 427 car. We retail this for $2,500. Today $900
