We use a small piece of rubber fuel line with stainless hose clamps.

If you are running original Lemans rods with cap screws, you may need to adjust the scraper for a bit of additional clearance.

A question: the input for the oil temp sensor is 3/4 NPT, my oil temp sensor is a fairly common 6-AN size fitting. I have not found any female 6-AN to 3/4 NPT male reducers. Is there a more elegant solution than just combining several reducers?

How about 6an-1/2npt and a 3/4npt-1/2npt bushing? The bushing would hardly show.

It had been so long since I removed the engine from the car and changed the pan, I forgot that there was an adapter for the sensor, which was still on the Canton pan I removed. Funny enough, it was a perfect fit from 6an to 1/2 NPT......problem solved.

I may have missed it in this thread. Anybody know the ground clearance for this pan on a Kirkham. Just wondering how low it sits.

The billet pans sit above the rails so no issues.
