Default Was there anything new shown at the Open House?

For those of us who did not attend the Kirkham Open House this year, was there anything new or from the skunkworks shown?

I wish someone would post some more pictures of their Coupe. I have only seen a few pics and they were awsome...but what else would you expect from the Kirkhams?

Clois,

I was there last year. And the Kirkham Coupe was pretty much just a frame at that time. The car that you probably think is the Kirkham Coupe is most likely the McCluskey Coupe at the Kirkham shop being used for reverse engineering purposes.

Here's a link to last year's thread with my pictures:

Kirkham Motorsports Annual Open House 19 Feb 2011

It would be interesting to see what the actual Kirkham Coupe looks like now.

Mikes car was sent back about 6-8 months ago. We have two cars semi built, but nothing finished yet. As far as the body is concerned, tooling for everything except the bonnet has been made. The bonnet is next on the list.
The car we had on display this year was ours, and it was in pretty rough shape, but after we get the frame painted, we can start to really fine tune the body on that particular car, and as we build more of these things will get better and better

Check out Kirkham University, I think there are some background shots of the coupe on one of the body forming videos.

Those videos are not that recent. You would most likely be seeing the McCluskey coupe in the background.

If you go to David Kirkham's facebook page, on January 16th there are a couple pictures of the Kirkham coupe with an "egg crate" over the front end to check for fit of engine, wheels, etc.
