Default Complete Kirkham Price

I am trying to figure out real "out the door" pricing for a Kirkham car, complete.

It seems that the roller itself before paint will cost about $65,000 with the options that I'd like.

Does this mean that I am looking at $110,000+ for a painted car with an aluminum 427, rag top, complete? (roughly $15,000 to $20,000 less than the Shelby equivalent?)

Not for nothing...but why aren't you asking the manufacturers some of these questions?

Both SA and KMS are very accessible and can give you the exact answer to pricing, config, etc.

Give them a call.

..just trying to help ya.

If there was consistency in the pricing of the product and its components it would be easier to give you an answer. That said, the $110K figure should easily let you get a painted, finished car with what you want. Remember also, that someone else or you, ultimately takes the car from a roller form to finished product.

Yeah, I have called the manufacturers, but they can only give me pricing for what they sell. I'm looking for a realistic number of the completed project.

I was building an A&C replica before and bought the kit for $11,000, when I reached $45,000 I realized that it was a bit costlier than I could have imagined. I sold it unfinished, because it was turning out to not be what I wanted and at too high of an expense. It became no longer fun and I lost the excitment for it. . . For the $60,000 it would have cost to complete, I felt I could have a "better" car. No offense to A&C, by better I mean, more of what I wanted from a Cobra, which was originality.

I have been in a similar situation myself regarding alloy car! Getting the true cost of these projects is a task in its self especially when you cant get all the eggs from one basket.
It takes time to find suitable engines builders and painters willing to take on your needs. But i worked out a roller to be in the $65k pp and the engine and trans at $25k (shelby alloy) engine fitting and setup at $4k and painting $8-12k (alot of people are going for the brushed finish) so your figure of $110k is not far out in real terms.
I hope you get what your looking for.
