		I had a problem with my "original spec" leaking, so I bought a Dove cast tank, maybe $350 or so?   It did leak some at the parting line, so I had to take it apart and gasket it back together.  The tank also has an adjustable valve in the neck, rangine from full flow, to I think complete closure, fwiw.

		Billit? On a Cobra-ain't natural. I am having a hard enough time with the lower A-Arms.  
 
The last two I made I had heliarced. Seems to be doing great. One is on a 65 F250 PU.

Top marks to you on the header tank, I have dealt with the original tanks and in NZ some of the radiator repair guys used to fit a brass bolt easi-flowed (silver solder) into the center of the tank to stabilize the flex under pressure and limit fatigue!  I think for reliability your tank will be great and more useable, I guess for the purist an original rebuilt tank is important to them, but with your tank painted black, and if I had an FE 427 Cobra I would have one! 
 
My car  has a Nascar Yates canted valve engine in a space frame UK Ram Cobra so I need to do a remote tank for that, or fit a high neck on the remote thermostat housing to give some water above the heads, might use a Cobra/Corvette style Harrison round tank, but I dont think you need that much water quantity if you use a recovery overflow tank!

		Ok, these might not be perfectly original, but they are quite a piece!  I tired of little bubbles around the seams and my can had a couple dents that I mostly fixed with solder filler and a sander (not perfect).  My car isn't totally original...I mean I polished it, I don't have an original sideoiler, and other little things, so what the hell.  I need a new tank and figured this will be a good way to go. 
 
Monday I ordered one of these suckers from the Kirkhams....Sure, it wasn't cheap at $400, but figured I would spend somewhere near that for a new old style or stainless.  WOW!  Got home tonight and it was on the door step and it's pretty damn sweet!  Really amazing quality of the machine work.  It's really really nice.  If you're looking for the lightest weight unit, this is not it (it's billet afterall), but if you want a really high quality piece with great new world features (no gasket goop!!!) that looks fantastic, well this is a great addition! 		It does not fit in a Classic Roadster on a 351w.  It bolted on cleanly and

 I am looking for the answer to that exact question.  I've got a Roush 427IR (351W based) but the CSX radiator exit is on the left. 		It should fit.  We have sold them to just about everyone.  We even make adapters to space the forward and up.  We make them left outlet and right outlet...just about any flavor you can think of. 
If it doesn't fit just send it back.  No big deal.
