At some point I heard that McCluskey intentionally made a single deviation from the originals to make it easy for an expert to tell his cars from an original. Are you copying the deviation?
Another question comes to mind. How did a partially complete McCluskey car get into your hands... I assume Mike does not normally deliver them that way.

David,
Are you forcasting this to be a limited or small number of cars or hoping to take it to a broader audience?

Don't you want to wait until the first Kirkham version comes over from Poland?

TBirdNutt,
You are welcome to come by any time. We will be in the shop tomorrow. We are really far behind so I don't imagine we will leave before 2:00 pm.
As for seeing one from Poland, that will take some time before that happens.

David,
As far as price
1. limited production
2. hand built
3. exclusive
4. rare
5. 125 roller is a bargain in my opinion
It is not "everyman's car" so don't appologize. You have a narrow market. Go for it. Just keep those nice 427 S/C roadsters in the pipeline too; we all want one!!
Congratulations are in order!!
Nice decision!

No commitment, but I am noodling a year to the first deliveries. I MUST preface that with the fact there are quite a few people interested and we will probably only be able to make 10/year so the 1st year may sell out very quickly.

Hi David, did you ever determine a final price, options etc. on your version of the Daytona Coupes? Just in case I win the lottery, although I don't play, I thought I should know. Thank you.

Too many cool projects going on right now. As we finally finished the billet chassis car, our mills are now freed up for all sorts of fun parts. Parts are selling like mad right now--good thing! We are always looking for other parts to make to expand our line.
We will get back to the Kirkham Coupe soon...maybe this summer.

I would buy a CSX 4000 series and install a Kirkham Alum. Coupe body.
Keep me informed.

Uh, that wouldn't work, right? The Coupe's wheelbase is longer than the Cobra, correct?

A Daytona Coupe and a 289 Cobra have identical chassis measurements. The Coupe just has a modified superstructure. (and pedal box).
Wheel base and suspension are identical.

I will post pictures as soon as I get through the "Attic Sale." That sale has had us packing boxes for weeks now.
