George, did you give the guy a deposit? If so, then you should be pissed, if not, then you have no argument. When selling a car, cash in hand is the only thing that matters and it is first come first serve. When I sold my Kirkham a guy from Italy wanted it and was sending someone down from NY to look at it (I made no promises to hold it and he offered no deposit that would have held it for him) another guy swooped in with an overnight check and the rest is history. Promises to buy mean nothing unfortunatly.
