I like Hampton Inns.

Fixed it for you. You're welcome ;)

If any of your wives ski, some of the best skiing in the world is less than an hour from Provo.

Have shipping costs for cars gone down now that fuel is no longer $4.00/gallon? Now that Rich Lacy has retired, who is providing reasonable shipping across the country? (Sorry, not macho enough to drive my car from the northeast in January/February.)

Hey, can't make it but wish I could...not all that far from Lake Havasu City, AZ. My wife would dump me for sure if I sold the house for the "Best Cobra ever made" (light years better than original Shelby's).....Kirkham.

Without question you guys have done an outstanding job of producing the finest quality car on the planet. You got my full respect..something I personally don't give out very often.
I know Big Whoop!..but good job in this world of mediocrity and the want to be's.

HI Cobra 01-05-2009 10:59 AM

I'd love to be able to make it now that I am the proud owner of #142,
but the Cobra is in Texas, I am in Hawaii for now, and I have way too much
pineapple juice in my blood to try to drive her up there for a weekend in Feb.,
from Texas. I hope to figure something out for next year!

Thanks for the kind words!

Why don't you come up and join us for a lot of fun. It is nice to shake off the winter blues and get together with a bunch of GREAT guys. About 1/2 of the people who show up are customers and 1/2 are enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome...wives included!

Hey what about the Coupe and the block. Maybe some lecture about the motor. What you intend for; Oiling, Cooling, heads the nity grity cool stuff. Why you made it that way stuff? Thanks
Presently I plan on driving mine up. Another good idea- How about proper detailing the sanded finish by your professionals- You can use my car as the demo.

David Kirkham 01-06-2009 02:26 PM

We are fiddling as fast as we can on them. I hope to get back on the block soon. Now that the billet chassis car is done, we have freed up some time to start on some of the other cool projects.

If you drive your car up here for the Open House, then we will certainly put on a professional detailing demonstration on your car.

We'll get into other nitty gritty stuff as well.

He gives "carte blanche" a new "wider" meaning. :)

Jamo 01-06-2009 11:25 PM

Assolutely. Hint...wear cargo pants.

I will start listing my bounty on ebay soon.

PANAVIA 01-08-2009 02:41 AM

ok, who wants to go from the Bay Area >? anyone ready for a road trip >?

RodKnock 01-08-2009 09:50 AM

Steve, I'm thinking about going for the day or maybe even overnight, but man, it's Valentine's Day.

PANAVIA 01-09-2009 02:45 AM

ouch. thats right. ugh. that may kill it.

David Kirkham 01-09-2009 08:52 AM

Think of it this way. You can all bring the wife along...or you can save Valentine's Day for later when the restaurants won't all be full!

:D:D:D

RodKnock 01-09-2009 10:28 AM

David, it's not only the wives you have to consider abandoning, but your kids too. :)

I would love to get up there, especially with Jamo's extra pair of cargo pants (they won't fit, guaranteed), but much has to be debated inside my very small head before a flight gets booked. I might have to wait until the Summer track event.

Naumoff 01-09-2009 10:49 AM

I have been married 20 years....I will be there.:)
