I'm not sure who your message was directed to, but if was me, then my answer is as follows:
1. I try to post when there's a Kirkham on eBay, and
2. You missed my humor, as well as some others, that was directed towards Patrick, since he sometimes has been known to direct a barb or two towards the FFR crowd.
By the way, safety is a relative term. A modern car with bumpers, side impact protection, ABS, traction control, PB, PS, and numerous airbags placed throughout the cabin is much more safe.
