Talking Ride Request for a friend!

Hello fellow Cobra enthusiasts.
I have a request, I am in Brazil for a medical problem with my daughter and the surgeon who operated on her, is a Cobra fan who almost bought one here in Curitiba, Brazil. He bought a brand new Harley instead, go figure.
He will be going to a convention in your town for a week starting the 22nd of June. I would like for him to see a bunch of Cobras and perhaps get him a ride in one if at all possible.
I see that your club gets together on a frequent basis for "Cars and Coffee" or "Cobras and Coffee" on Saturday mornings and wondered if it was every Saturday. The Saturday he is there is the 26th of June.
If that is the case, I can direct him where ever it is you meet.
He is a great guy and I would like to give him a special treat when he visits.
Thanks, Ralph

There are usually about 3-4 Cobras that show up every week at Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings. I only get to go about once a month due to my work schedule. I won't be there that weekend but have him go and see all the other cars in addition to the Cobras. Somebody who is planning on going may read this and offer him a ride. At least one of us doesn't use a computer, so your friend may have to start by talking to an owner that he meets at Cars and Coffee.

Thanks, Randy, at least this is a start. Will see if someone else chimes in from your club. The date is over 3 weeks away, maybe we'll get lucky.
You'll have to give me an address of the event.
Thanks, Ralph

Talking Saturday Cars & Coffee

RedSnake 351

Like Randy said, have your friend show up at Cars & Coffee at the Sansone Center. It's just south of the 215 Beltway on Eastern Ave, about two, maybe three, lights.
Summer hours are 7->10 every Saturday.

Most Saturdays therer are at least twoor three Cobras . . . sometimes we go completely crazy and 8 or 9 show up . . . we never know. More then likely, besides me, Larry and Erwin will be there . . .

I'm sure we would be more then willing to answer questions and provide rides.

See ya there . . .

Pete

And when stopped for a vehicle inspection and asked why the brake pedal seemed to go just a little to close to the floor, the response was:

"I didn't buy this car to stop . . . it doesn't have anything on it that doesn't make it go faster!"

Thanks Pete, I will get the address and info to him and hope he will have the time to meet up with you. He is a great guy and will enjoy discussing Cobras with you. His name is Joao (Joe) Marchesini, he will introduce himself to someone with a Cobra and let you know he knows me, Ralph Schneider.
Thanks again,
Ralph
