Default Track Time at LVMS

Is anyone going to the Lapping Days track event at LVMS this weekend. I plan on being there. Tom's Motorsports is finishing up a few things on my cobra for me today and I'll be ready to go.

I would be there in my Z, but I have to roll it into SEMA on Sunday. I usually try not to miss an opportunity to run that track. It hardly gets used for HPDEs, and is a pretty fun track, not to mention, only 10 min. from my house . Take lots of pictures and let us know how it goes. I have never run with Lapping Days so let us know how you like them as well.

Doug,
Had a good time. The track may be flat but there are a few turns that require attention. Came down the back straight, past two cars and entered the turn a little off line and went wide....ran out of track and found some gravel but stopped before hitting the wall. Back on track and finished the session.

This was the first time with the yellow lettered Goodyears. Definently more traction than the Blue Streaks.

How was Willow?

Glad you had a good time. Willow was great. I upgraded to some Kumo V710's and it's a night and day difference. I was able to push the car harder than ever and still stay glued to the track. Before I felt I had too much power; the rear end was always comming out from under me. But now it actually gets to the ground and now I feel I can use more power. It's amazing what a tire change can do.

Any word from Terry? Has anything been settled with his car?
