Default LCS weather

In Ohio we have a saying 'If you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes... it will change!' The only weather report you can rely on is the one where you go to the door, open it, and look for yourself! I have seen it rain on one side of the street and the sun is shining on the other side!

But in this case, I would like to beleive the extended forecast. Right now the forecast covers only the two days at Mid-Ohio but, it say sunny high of 86, low of 63 both days with 0% chance of precip!

The average for the weekend is high of 83 and low of 61. The best weather men I know around here are the farmers. The big ones are high tech and they can tell you with in minutes of where it will rain and when. Now when consulting their crystal ball, they say June 19-24 sunny and warm

The weather forecast is looking so good that I have to look twice to be sure I was not seeing things!

Still looking good! Don't worry about those 30-40% chances, typical for a summer pattern. Means you might get wet for a few minutes here or there but your chances are much better of seeing nothing in the way of precipitation.

I was trying to decide whether to come over Thursday evening or Friday morning. The forecast seems to favor the Friday idea. Last year, I nearly needed a snorkel for the drive over. I don't remember ever driving in a harder rain storm, even in a regular car. It was a real hoot in the roadster. Fire up, everyone-the fun is about to begin. See you at the LCS.

Default They were ALL wrong...!

Rained Friday...on the way to AF Museum....on the Hocking Hills tour. Best bet was to head north to Mid-Ohio...

Rained again Saturday night...most all night long, following the Tent Party.

Turns out they were ALL WRONG!

Best plan on it raining somewhere, sometime during the weekend. This was my 6th trip to Columbus area. I only remember one even when it didn't rain all weekend...DVSF3, I think it was....maybe 2.
