Default Did anyone go to the car show at Belmont Park on the weekend?

What are the chances that one of the NY locals went to the car show at Belmont Park, Queens on the weekend?

The reason I ask is that this car was there for sale, and I wonder if anyone noticed it...

I realise the odds of any Cobra guys (a) being at the show, and (b) actually looking at one specific car closely enough to make a comment about it are pretty slim, but when I'm on the other side of the world it's at least worth asking the question...!

Thanks,

Craig

Unbelievable - I think at least somebody from this site can be relied upon to be at every car event on the planet at any given time!!!

I asked the owner some questions about the front suspension, and all he could say was that it was "custom" and was done by a pro...

As a car guy, is there anything (ANYTHING!) that you can tell me about the car? Did the body/paint seem like a high quality back to bare metal style job, or was it more a bit of bondo and a buff?

Did you hear it run? Seems like the motor isn't anything radical, but did it sound OK?

Young guy own it, or a mellower older guy? (not that I'm making any judgements about either demographic!!!)

Anything stick out as being a problem with the car?

Thank a million for your help,

Craig

Craig, I was there and took a pretty good look at this car. Workmanship was very nice but it was "tubbed" and more of a pro street car . Didn't get a real good look at the front end but there wasn't much left of the stock car.
