Thumbs up FREE! FREE! BF Goodrich Comp T/As Pick it up!

Very good condition tires off my big block Superformance Cobra. Probably have about 2000 miles on them, never spun or raced. I had a flat on the rear, ruined the sidewall, and couldn't get a replacement. I had to buy a set of Nittos. So, if you need any one or all, it's yours. Just come pick it up. Send me a PM so we can set it up!

BF Goodrich Comp T/A
(2) of 245/50 R17
(1) of 305/45 R17

Dennis,

Dunno what he used LOL

I just put on a set of Nitto NT05 street tires (NOT the NT05R race tires). I've run them both on trips of several hundred miles and on a track during a DE event. They worked really well for both; I was comfortable cruising to the track and pushing the car while on the track.

I use 275/40/17 on 9.5" rims front and 315/35/15s on 11" rims on the rear.

I like 'em. Getting ready to do a 600 mile cruise on them this weekend.

They even work (somewhat!) when it's raining.

The downside is they have a wear rating of 200 which means they won't last more than say 10K miles or so which is fine with me. Much stickier than the Michelin Pilots they replaced.

Tom

Default Nittos

Dennis,

Sorry for the delay, I was busy still cleaning out my garage : )

I used the Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance from Discount Tire Direct

315 X 35 X ZR17 rears
275 X 40 X ZR17 fronts

They are almost as soft as drag radials, grip like rubber cement when properly warmed up but will probably wear out fast like Tom says. I run 20psi all around, and that seems to work best. I feel like I may have to get those larger diameter sway bars because now, the car really sways because of the grip.

Somebody's picking up the 3 BF Goodrich tires on Monday. Glad somebody can use them.
