Default transmission problem

Ihave a tko 600 with the pro 5 o midshift lately Im having a problem the the stick shift getting stuck in gear does anyone else have this problem and is their anyone on long island that you can recommend to fix this problem the car only has about 7000 miles on it and just started having this problem at the end of last year. I was able to fix it temporarely by removing the stick and aligning the spring loaded rods but it only held up for a few days and then would get stuck in gear again its very frustrating any help would be appreciated.

Default May have a clutch problem

Wastehauler, you didnot say which clutch you are running. It's very possible that the pressure plate or disc is going south after 7,000 miles. If you have a hrdro throw out bearing, flush the system and retry. If you have a opening in the bell housing where you can get a feeler gauge between the pressure plate and disc, check the air gap. You want between .035" to .050". They fixed most of the problems with the forks in TKO boxes and you said you rechecked the linkage. This will get you started. Rick L.

Does it get stuck in ANY gear, or only a particular gear, say 3rd?

I would say you have a detent or synchronizer hub issue if only a one gear.

Call the guys over at S&K Speed in Lindenhurst. They have a transmission shop and are very helpful.
