Enclosed trailer rental?

Does anyone on long Island rent enclosed trailers? Or would anyone here that has one rent yours? I'm looking to pick up a possible cobra and do a swap. The guy lives 18hrs from me. Shipping companies want $1500 for the each way. I'm thinking of driving 9hrs and meeting him half way. My car isn't a problem with the open trailer, it's the cobra. Unless anyone has ideas...

I seem to recall someone that transported their cobra inside one of the Hertz trucks.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I post a great experience renting an enclosed 8.5' x 20' Homesteader trailer to haul my FIA to ERA.

Google Slaymaker Group Equipment Rental in Washington Borough PA (near York). Price was reasonable for an enclosed trailer and they were very accommodating. The trailer itself was well maintained and pulled straight as an arrow.
