Default Dyno Racing at Bill Mitchell's on Speedvision

Did anyone catch that show last night ? I happened upon a segment of it, filmed in Ronkonkoma where 20+ engine builders dynoed their Chevy / Ford SB's for $100,000 prize. Rules simply were kept to a max of 410cid pulled to a max of 6500rpm. It came down to about 7 contenders where the average
( not peak ) tq/hp was figured for each of three pulls than that was given a points ratring. Jegs , CHP and others had motors making the final rounds.
Kooks must have supplied the headers because he was front and center in the audience . Chas, can you fill us in when this might be held again ?
If they played it again I'd sure like to tape it. Hey...it's a long winter ahead !

JAM,
Good news and bad... What you saw was coverage from 2 years ago. No film crews were present this year. Last year, Hot Rod TV filmed it and showed it on the Outdoor Channel.
This year was 434 inch limit, and Tony Bischoff won using our Man O'War 9.5 deck Windsor.
See Small Block Talk section for my posts on the competition and our site has a feature with photos of the winner and finalists.
It was really cool. Pop Hot Rodding will post date and rules for next year.
