NY Pro-Hobbyist Bill needs your support NOW!!
If you haven't contacted the Assemblymembers in Albany yet, please do it NOW!! We may not get another chance at this important legislation in the near future. Our representatives need to know how important this bill is to us. There is a website set up with more info and even a sample letter that you can copy and paste... then just fill in your address and personal info. I've provided a link to this site at the bottom of this thread. All the names, addresses and phone numbers of the Transportation Committee representatives are on this site. We need to contact these Assemblymembers first. They are the ones who decide if the bill goes through to the General Assembly. Please take a few minutes to write a letter to these Assemblymembers so we can get this bill made into law in New York. Thanks for your support!
Mike

 ...just bringing this up again.
NY guys... have you sent a letter or e-mailed your representative yet?

Don't put it off! The clock is running.

First gear - contact the Assemblyman in your home district...tell them you want them to support A.B. 6484

Second gear - send a message to each of the members of the Transportation Committee and ask that they vote favorably on A.B. 6484

Third gear - send a personal letter to the Chairman of the Transportation Committee and explain how important A.B. 6484 is to the enthusiast community.

Fourth gear - follow-up with e-mails to each of the members of the Committee.

Visit the Support SEMA in NY website for help in locating your Representative, getting the names and addresses of the Committee members and download a sample letter to make it easy.

thanks |

I contacted Senator Maziarz and got him to sponsor the same bill in the Senate. Do we now need to contact all the other Senators?

Since it has a designator and is now "in committee"...
...I guess the same lobbying tactics would apply... like what we were trying to do with A.B. 6484.

I will work on updating the Support site with all the Senate committee guys this weekend. |

 Guys,
Thanks for keeping us informed and getting the Assembly and Senate names and emails for us!

 Let's "git-er-done" this time.
