NYC Columbus Center Run

I am in the process of securing a permit for this years run into Manhattan on October 7th 20007. I have spoken to Mekos the owner/photographer of Stock & Custom Magazine, and have agreed that he will cover our run. This year as far as the Cobra shirts go, I will be doing things a little different. As a benefit to all current Columbus Center Club members, they will each receive a shirt. Anyone who wishes to join the club the day of the run, will also receive a shirt.

We will be meeting at the McDonalds on Hempstead Turnpike across from the Nassau Coliseum at 6:00 am. We will be getting on the road at 6:20 sharp. Please have a full tank of gas, and your ez-pass available.

The route into Columbus Center is as follows:
The Meadowbrook Parkway (north), to the Grand Central Parkway (west), to the Cross Island Parkway (north), to the LIE (west). The LIE will take us right into the mid-town tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, we will make a right turn onto 3rd avenue up to 60th street. We'll then make a left turn on 60th Street, heading up to Central Park and 5th avenue. Cross over 5th avenue making the long looping left turn (around the center median), and then make a right turn onto 58th street right into Columbus Center.
