A little off the subject but I got to drive my rented Mustang on the Homestead Speedway yesterday. We (the wife and I) did a bunch of laps in the 52 - 55 second range (100+ MPH). The best part was when the pace guy stopped the line to tell the driver of a Boxster to either keep up or park it. Of course all of this is child's play when you consider the IRL guys were running in the mid 20s (214 MPH) the night before. Those guys (and gals) have big balls.

I was out yesterday in the afternoon because it was a bit too cold for a ride to Captree in the morning at 35 degrees, it took a while for the oil and water temps to come up, but they were just a little below normal due to the temps below 50 at highway speed.

To bad you didn't have a stick in that car, what did you think of the handling ?? I just bought an 08 mustang gt and body roll seems more pronounced then my previous 01 GT, maybe after it's lowered a bit this will improve.
