Full Throttle also claimed the event will create $300 million in revenue for the area
That is rather interesting as the number normally kicked about for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal is $75M to $100M. This was the amount used to justify the various government incentives and includes all of the spin off revenue for hotels, restaurants, etc. I would guess that Full Throttle's estimate of $300M is slightly exaggerated.
